GUIDANCE FOR ACTIVATING A PRODUCT

You have different ways to activate your game on your Xbox or Microsoft account.
Start your console, press the Xbox button and then select the Store.
Press the View button and select Redeem.
Type in your code. Double check the spelling and click on Next.
After following the prompts, you will then receive a notification, that the content has been activated on your account.
Go to the Xbox redemption website and login.
Type in your code. Double check the spelling and click on Redeem.
You will then receive a notification, that the content has been activated on your account.
Press the Start button and then enter store in the search bar.
Click on the Microsoft Store.
Select your account in the top right corner and then click on Redeem code or gift cards.
Type in your code. Double check the spelling and click on Next.
After following the prompts, you will then receive a notification, that the content has been activated on your account.
Press the Start button and then enter Xbox in the search bar.
Click on the Xbox App.
Select your account in the top left corner and then click on Settings.
Select Redeem under Redeem a code.
Type in your code. Double check the spelling and click on Next.
After following the prompts, you will then receive a notification, that the content has been activated on your account.
Troubleshooting activation errors
Please see below steps in case you encounter any issues with the activation of your code.
- Double check the code for accuracy
- Make sure you have used the right code. Xbox codes contain 25 digits
- Make sure you are logged into the correct account. Content cannot be transferred
- Try to redeem the code at a later time
