How to change the Football Manager’s Sports Interactive folder location in my computer?

We recommend your Sports Interactive folder be stored locally as opposed to cloud drives (e.g. One Drive) to avoid any potential sync issues.

You can change the Sports Interactive folder within Football Manager:

  1. Go to ‘FM Menu’ -> ‘Preferences’ -> ‘Detailed’ -> ‘Your World’
  2. Click ‘Change Folder’ and choose your preferred location of choice
  3. Click 'Confirm'

If you want to reset the Sports Interactive folder to the default location, you can click on the ‘Reset to Default’ (the arrow button) to reset.

You can also change the Sports Interactive folder's location via the platform's settings.

Steam  Microsoft Epic Games Launcher

  1. Go into Steam and right-click on the game
  2. Select 'Properties'
  3. Click 'Set Launch Options...'
  4. Copy the following into the dialogue box: --user_data_location="path"
  5. In the path section, enter the exact path you wish the folder to be generated (ie D:\Users\ etc).

The next time you launch the game, your Sports Interactive folder will be created in this location.
