If you see the “An error occurred while updating [Football Manager title] (unknown error)” error message when downloading Football Manager. In that case, it is likely that your system is below the system requirements.
In some instances, this can be resolved by simply upgrading the Operating System on your device.
If you’ve encountered the above error message on PC, it is likely an indication that your system is below the system requirement to play FM24.
We suggest you check whether your system meets the FM24 minimum system requirements.
Suppose your system is in fact below the minimum system requirement. In that case, you will likely need to upgrade the hardware to play the game.
You’ll need to have a macOS Big Sur (11) or later to run FM24. There’s a list of systems which Big Sur is supported on which can be found here.
