If you bought the game directly from Steam it will already be in your library, so access the title and click the ‘Install’ button to begin the process of installation.
If you have bought a Steam digital code from somewhere else, you should receive a code directly from your retailer. If you have not received your Activation key, you need to contact them directly.
Once you have your activation code, do as instructed below to activate and start downloading your game:
- Download the Steam client: http://store.steampowered.com/about/
- Install Steam on your computer
- Once installed, open up Steam
- Go to ‘+ADD A GAME’ at the bottom-left of the window
- Then select ‘Activate a product’ on Steam
- Enter your pre-release Activation key
- Steam should now download your game.
If you have bought a boxed version of the game, the Activation code can be found on the back of the insert. Depending on the iteration you have purchased, you may need to activate the Activation code via the Football Manager redemption website.

Once you have your Activation key, do as instructed below to activate and start downloading your game:
- Download the Epic Launcher: https://www.epicgames.com/store/en-US/download
- Follow the instructions on screen to install the Epic Launcher
- Once installed, open the Epic Games Launcher and create/log in to your Epic Games account
- Click your name icon in the top right corner.
- Click ‘Redeem Code’.
- Enter the activation key, and then click ‘Redeem’. You should receive a message that the code was successfully redeemed.
- Click ‘Back to Home’ to return to the launcher home page.
If you bought the game directly from Microsoft Store it will already be in your library, so access the title and click the ‘Install’ button to begin the process of installation.
If you have bought a Microsoft Store digital code from somewhere else, you should receive a code directly from your retailer. If you have not received your Activation key, you need to contact them directly.
Once you have your Activation key, do as instructed below to activate and start downloading your game:
- Go to the Microsoft Store via the Start Menu
- Create/log in to your Xbox account
- Click your name icon in the top right corner.
- Click ‘Redeem code or gift cards’.
- Enter the activation key, and then click ‘Next. You should receive a message that the code was successfully redeemed.
