If your update for FM26 Mobile is failing on an Android Device, please try the following:
- Check if you have enough storage space on your device for the app update
- Restart your phone fully using the power menu
- Navigate to: Security and Privacy > App Security > App Protection, click the 3 dots in the upper right corner, then select App Protection Settings and disable "auto scan when installing apps"
- If the issue continues, try the following steps listed here: https://support.google.com/googleplay/answer/14121793. When clearing the cache and data, ensure it’s the data of the Play Store and Play Services, not FM26 itself.
Failing all the above, please try the steps below:
- Carefully follow the steps here to export your career to a folder outside the game structure, including ensuring you press export a second time after the folder has been selected and waiting for the export confirmation: https://support.sega.com/hc/en-gb/articles/28869129928721-How-to#tab-content-103
- Uninstall and reinstall the game in the Play Store
- Carefully follow the steps here to import your career, including making sure you select the parent folder of the Football Manager Mobile folder containing your saves, rather than the game folder itself: https://support.sega.com/hc/en-gb/articles/28869129928721-How-to#tab-content-155
- Once the import has completed, close the game
- Re-launch the game and load your save game
Failing all of the above, follow the steps here to submit a System Bug report and one of our team will investigate further.
