What should I do if I encounter a crash on career startup on FM26?

For any Windows users whose game is crashing when trying to start a career, we suggest you try adding 'fm.exe' to your "controlled folder access" in the Windows Security app by doing the following:

1. Open up Windows Security, navigate to "Virus & threat protection settings"
2. Click on Ransomware Protection (located on the bottom)
3. From there go to “Allow an app through Controlled folder access.”
4. Click on "Add permitted app" and then browse your apps
5. Locate the fm.exe (which is usually located in your Steam folder - C:\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\Football Manager 26
