How do I unlock more characters?

There are different ways to unlock new characters in the game.

1. By completing new builder areas.
2. By winning them from the Prize Wheel
3. By purchasing them from the store.
4. By collecting enough character cards to unlock a character. You can collect these character cards as pickups on the track during a race.
