Boosters are temporary abilities applied to your character just before a start of the race. You can only equip 3 at a time, and you can equip them in the Booster menu, which is found on the main menu.
You can get earn more boosters by completing daily Jigsaw puzzles, or by purchasing them with Rings in the Booster menu.
