For a save file, click the ‘FM’ button while in that save game, then ‘Save Game As’. On the popup that appears, click the ‘Cloud’ button and save your game. Afterwards, quit Football Manager and Steam will synchronise the save game with the Steam Cloud.
For saving non-save files, proceed to the screen where the respective file would be used – e.g. the Scouting Shortlist screen for shortlist files – and there will be options there for saving files (on most screens it is a button with a cog icon on it). Once you select the save option, it functions in the same way as saving the game – tap the ‘Cloud’ button to save files to the cloud. As with save files, you’ll then need to quit FM21 Touch and Steam will sync with the Steam Cloud.
Once this has done, go to the Football Manager 2021 Touch Start Screen on your tablet and tap ‘Cross-Sync’. The panel should now display the new file. Tap it, then tap ‘Download’ to download it to your tablet.
When the download has completed, tap ‘Close’ and then tap ‘Load Game’ to load a save file as normal.
To load a non-save file, load into a saved game then proceed to the screen where the respective file would be used – e.g. the Tactics screen for tactic files – and there will be options there for loading files (on most screens it is a button with a cog icon on it). Select the load file option and you should see the file you downloaded.
