GENERAL
Staff working on repeat marketing campaigns will not take breaks!
The Marketing team loves what they do a little too much. The safest thing to do is not run a repeat campaign for now, but you can always keep an eye on their needs yourself and make them take a break if they look like they need it.
Adjusting tours as guests queue for will mean guests now ignore it!
Pick up the expert assigned to the tour and place them back down, they’ll get everyone back on track!
Objectives UI doesn’t update if you change language!
A Quick Save/Load should get this working as intended.
When I select the decorate button on an exhibit I get room items!
This is happening because that menu is detecting your previously viewed room items. Open the main items menu to reset this and then the decorate button should display the correctly themed items.
I moved a Zapper Fish to a new Aquarium but it is still affecting the old one!
Return the Zapper Fish to your inventory first and then place it in the new Aquarium.
My Room template has an invalid door.
Right click to clear it off your cursor and then try to build it again.
My Exhibit has a return to inventory icon over its head.
This happens if you start to build a room over an exhibit but then cancel the production.
My Polterguest Room template didn’t save the decor theme.
Sorry! The items should save though, so you can adjust the theme in the menu as usual.
My wall clinging fish have escaped!
This usually happens if you edit the Aquarium that they’re in. try a Quick Save/Load to send them back!
CONSOLE
The “Memento-us Occasion” tutorial can trigger twice.
This can seem like you have to go back to Memento Mile to complete the objectives again, but actually, any other level can still be progressed.
PS5 ONLY
My NPCs are… stretchy!?
Sadly there’s not really a work around for this, but it tends to happen on Passwater Cove when children use onesies and adults interact with the Blooming Buffoon.
WINDOWS ONLY
Crash at start-up
We have had cases of crashes at start-up on Windows, caused by an incompatibility with a very old versions of the Realtek Audio Driver (such as those installed with old motherboards/PCs).To fix this, we recommend taking these steps:
- Uninstall the Realtek Audio Driver through "Add or remove programs"
- Rebooting your PC
- Run Windows Update and let it install all available updates
- In Windows Update, go to 'Advanced Options', then 'Optional Updates', and install anything audio-related in the 'Drivers' section, if there's anything there.
