What should I do if In-game Editor isn’t appearing in Football Manager?

If you have purchased the In-game Editor (IGE) and it is not appearing in game, please try the following troubleshooting methods:

Generic troubleshooting methods:

  • Make sure your IGE is same version as your Football Manager (FM) game. For example, you need to purchase IGE 26 if you want to use it for FM26.
  • Check you are logged in to the same account that the purchase was made on. If you have bought FM26 and IGE 26 with two separate accounts, then the IGE won’t appear in game.
  • Turn off any VPNs.
  • Verify that the time zone and clocks on your machine are correct.

Steam specific:

Epic specific:

  • Verify game caches and restart Epic Launcher.
  • Revoke FM’s Epic Store access. Once you’ve done so, the next time you launch Football Manager with you Epic Games account, you will be asked to authorise access for the game again – click ‘Allow’.

If the above hasn’t worked, please try configuring Anti-virus. Avast, Bullguard and BitDefender have all been known to cause problems in the past.

If you find nothing above helps, please submit a support ticket and provide the log files (see below) so our team can help.
