Q: Who is Epidemius?
A: Epidemius, also known as the Maggot King, bursts into Total War: WARHAMMER III alongside Thrones of Decay! Epidemius is Father Nurgle’s chosen Tallyman, tasked with cataloguing every single one of the Plaguelord’s diseases while amplifying the power of his fellow demons from atop his nurgling-borne palanquin.
Q: When will he be made available?
A: Epidemius is available exclusively with a CA Account and will be released alongside Thrones of Decay on April 30th.
Q: How can I unlock Epidemius in Total War: WARHAMMER III?
A: If you have previously completed CA account registration using an email address or connecting a platform account such as Steam, you do not need to perform further steps as you have already registered and configured your CA account, and Epidemius will be unlocked.
If you don't have a CA Account, you will need to register for one here. Once your CA Account registration is complete, link your account to the platform you’ll be playing on (e.g. Steam) and Epidemius will be unlocked the next time you play Total War: WARHAMMER III.
Please Note: Epidemius is only playable within Total War: WARHAMMER III’s Immortal Empires campaign and will not be playable in the first two entries of the trilogy: Total War: WARHAMMER, Total War: WARHAMMER II.

Q: What is the CA Account?
A: Your CA Account is a universal game ID and account system used for all CA games moving forward. As our portfolio grows and expands to multiple storefronts, your CA Account will be the means by which you connect to all CA games and services across different platforms and devices, maintain game progression, claim exclusive content, meet friends, and personalise your experience, among other features.
Q: I already have a Total War Access account from before; do I need to create a new one?
A: No, your Total War Access account is now your CA Account! It is the same account with a new name and a new look. Anytime you log in to your Total War dashboard or the official Total War forums you will do so using the same e-mail and password from before.
Q: What about the in-game content I’ve unlocked from the Total War dashboard?
A: All of your data from Total War Access will be kept intact, including content you’ve redeemed from the dashboard, or platforms you’ve linked previously.
Q: What if I want to update my account details or preferences?
A: Please visit the player account management page to update your username, date of birth, email, password, or to link a platform to your CA Account.
For some changes, you may need to reach out to our Customer Support team, including managing marketing preferences, unlinking a platform, or deleting your account.
Q: Why create an account?
A: Your CA Account is your key to unlocking rewards, offers and other connected experiences across CA games. Currently, only Total War titles on PC make use of this account system.

A: You can register here: https://account.creative-assembly.com. You can also register for a CA Account from within Total War: WARHAMMER III by following the instructions in the in-game messages in the lower right corner of the main menu.

Q: What does the future look like for the CA Account?
A: Our ambition is to continue to deliver early and exclusive content and insider experiences for account holders, but also create something truly cross-platform, allowing you to securely move from platform to platform, retaining your progress and ownership. We are also working on a new community and rewards initiative that will replace the Total War dashboard and will be accessible via your CA Account.
