Total War: PHARAOH will hit (digital) shelves on Steam on October 11th 2023 at 15:00 BST / 10:00 EDT / 22:00 CST. It will be released on the Epic Games Store in early 2024.

The base game contains eight playable factions from three diverse cultures:

• Egyptian: Ramesses, Seti, Tausret, Amenmesse
• Canaanite: Bay and Irsu
• Hittite: Kurunta and Suppiluliuma

Total War: PHARAOH will be released for PC on Steam on October 11th and the Epic Games Store in early 2024:

-- WHAT IS INCLUDED IN THE DELUXE AND DYNASTY EDITIONS? --

In addition to the base game, there are two digital Total War: PHARAOH bundles available for pre-order on Steam. These bundles will become available on Epic at a later date.

The Deluxe Edition contains:

• Total War: PHARAOH base game
• DLC Faction Pack 1
• Digital Soundtrack

The Dynasty Edition contains:

• Total War: PHARAOH base game
• DLC Faction Pack 1
• DLC Faction Pack 2
• DLC Faction Pack 3

Compared to paying full price for each individual item, the Deluxe Edition offers players a 10% discount and the Dynasty Edition offers a 25% discount.

The DLC packs will be released as part of the post-launch content roadmap. Details of this roadmap will be provided at a later date.

-- WHAT DO I GET IF I PRE-ORDER THE GAME? --

If you pre-order Total War: PHARAOH on Steam now, you will be able to take part in an exclusive Early Access Weekend before the game is released. You will also receive the Avatar of the Gods Cosmetic Pack and Heart of the Shardana Cosmetic Pack for the full game.

The Avatar of the Gods Cosmetic Pack contains a unique skin for each playable Faction Leader (eight in total) and the Heart of the Shardana Cosmetic Pack contains unique Sherden outfits for bodyguard units. These will be available on release of Total War: PHARAOH. The Cosmetic Pack pre-order bonus offer will be available up until one week after release on Steam.

-- WHAT IS EARLY ACCESS WEEKEND? --

As part of your pre-order bonus on Steam, the Early Access Weekend allows you to venture into the stunning world of Total War: PHARAOH from Friday 29th September to Monday 2nd October before the full release of the game on 11th October. This pre-order bonus is not available on the Epic Games Store.

It’s an exciting opportunity for you to enjoy a carefully curated slice of the game including two playable factions from different cultures, a selection of Ancient Legacies, the full campaign map as well as all battle mechanics and most campaign mechanics. The campaign is playable for up to 60 turns, and can can be replayed as often as you like throughout the Early Access Weekend.

This is the first time we’re offering a pre-order bonus like this and we’re proud to give you the chance to try part of the game a little earlier! We’re currently focusing all available energy on polishing and delivering a smooth and enjoyable launch, so do not think of this as a beta test - although of course, if you should happen to encounter a serious bug or issue, please do let us know!

During the Early Access Weekend, you will be able to play:

• Up to 60 turns, which you can replay as many times as you like

• Two Egyptian Ancient Legacies (from a total of four): Khufu and Akhenaten
• Two Hittite Ancient Legacies: Tudhaliya and Muwatali
• Full access to all battle mechanics, the entire campaign map and Photomode capabilities
• Egyptian and Hittite Royal Traditions
• Custom battles

The Early Access Weekend is available on Steam for Windows only. It won’t be available for Mac or the Epic Games Store.

Please note that online multiplayer will not be available and save files are not transferable to the full release version of Total War: PHARAOH.

-- HOW DO I PLAY THE EARLY ACCESS WEEKEND? --

• If you have pre-ordered Total War: PHARAOH on Steam, the Early Access Weekend application will be automatically added to your Steam library prior to the event starting.
• The application can be downloaded once the event begins on Friday September 29th 13:00 BST / 08:00 EDT / 20:00 CST.
• An internet connection will be required to download the application.
• The download requires 50GB of storage space for installation.
• The event will end on Monday October 2nd at 13:00 BST / 08:00 EDT / 20:00 CST after which time the application will no longer be playable.

Yes, there will be a physical standard edition available at select retailers that includes a digital download code for Total War: PHARAOH, the Avatar of the Gods Cosmetic Pack and the Heart of the Shardana Cosmetic Pack, plus a printed double-sided poster.

The physical edition launches on October 23rd 2023 at select retailers in Europe. The digital download code is applicable for Steam only.

Total War: PHARAOH offers two-player co-op and head-to-head mode. Steam and Epic users will have cross-play enabled.
