Q: Who is Ulrika Magdova?
A: Ulrika Magdova is a new playable Legendary Hero for Kislev and The Empire. Proficient in melee combat, deadly at range, and skilled as a spellcaster, Ulrika is the best of both worlds, taking traits from the Vampire Counts and Kislev.
Q: When will she be made available?
A: Ulrika is available exclusively with a CA Account and will be released alongside the Forge of the Chaos Dwarfs DLC and Update 3.0 on April 13th.
Q: How can I unlock Ulrika in Total War: WARHAMMER III?
A: To claim this content, first ensure you have registered for a CA Account. You can do so now from within the game! Follow the prompts in the bottom right corner of the main menu (this is a space where we typically share updates on development, release notes, and other promotions).
If you don’t have an account or your account is not fully configured, you should see a message to “Prepare for her arrival”. This means that you will need to provide additional information to complete your account. Click on the news item and follow the instructions from the link provided toward the bottom of the news article.
On release day (April 13th) if your account registration is successful, you should see a final prompt that Ulrika is available. Finally, you must complete her unique mission chain to play as Ulrika.
Please note: Ulrika is only playable within Total War: WARHAMMER III and will not be playable in the first two entries of the trilogy: Total War: WARHAMMER or Total War: WARHAMMER II.
Q: What if I’m not seeing the prompt from within the game?
A: If you’re not seeing a prompt from within the game prior to the 13th of April, your CA Account should already be set-up and you should be all set! In that case, please hold tight until the 13th when more instructions will follow to unlock this reward.
Q: What happens when I click the link from within the game?
A: When launching the game and clicking on the news item, you will be presented with an option to either:
- Complete your CA Account registration by filling in email, username and password (if you are creating an account for the first time)
- Log in to an existing CA Account. If you already have a CA Account (or Total War Access as it was known before) you may be asked to connect or “merge” your accounts. This is because a new CA Account has been created when you initialised the game.
Currently, it is not possible to unlink an account from your preferred gaming platform. If you wish to delete your account, please contact our Customer Support team here
Q: Do I have to subscribe to the newsletter to unlock this content? (by ticking the box to accept marketing when creating an account)
A: No, this promotion will be available to all players with a CA Account. We do encourage you to opt-in to marketing to get the latest news, rewards and offers (including exclusive offers!) delivered directly to your inbox!
Q: Can I redeem this content from the Total War dashboard? (Formerly Total War Access dashboard?)
A: No, this content will not be redeemable from the dashboard web page. Unlike previous CA Account promotional FLC that was granted through linking your CA Account to your preferred game platform, this content is unlocked through your CA Account. This should make for a better user experience in redeeming content and we hope to improve upon this method in the future.

Q: What is the CA account?
A: Your CA Account is a universal game ID and account system used for all CA games moving forward. As our portfolio grows and expands to multiple storefronts, your CA Account will be the means by which you connect to all CA games and services across different platforms and devices, maintain game progression, claim exclusive content, meet friends, and personalise your experience, among other features.
Q: I already have a Total War Access account from before; do I need to create a new one?
A: No, your Total War Access account is now your CA Account! It is the same account with a new name and a new look. Anytime you log in to your Total War dashboard or the official Total War forums you will do so using the same e-mail and password from before.
Q: What about the in-game content I’ve unlocked from the Total War dashboard?
A: All of your data from Total War Access will be kept intact, including content you’ve redeemed from the dashboard, or platforms you’ve linked previously.
Q: What if I want to update my account details or preferences?
A: Please visit the player account management page to update your username, date of birth, email, password, or to link a platform to your CA Account.
For some changes, you may need to reach out to our Customer Support team, including managing marketing preferences, unlinking a platform, or deleting your account.
Q: Why create an account?
A: Your CA Account is your key to unlocking rewards, offers and other connected experiences across CA games. Currently, only Hyenas and Total War titles on PC make use of this account system.

A: Our ambition is to continue to deliver early and exclusive content and insider experiences for account holders, but also create something truly cross-platform, allowing you to securely move from platform to platform, retaining your progress and ownership. We are also working on a new community and rewards initiative that will replace the Total War dashboard and will be accessible via your CA Account.
